After a loss on Sunday, New York Mets manager Mickey Callaway cursed at a reporter, and pitcher Jason Vargas had to be restrained from charging the writer during a confrontation in the team’s clubhouse. Hall Of Fame Trainer Banned From Santa Anita After 30th Horse Dies

Hall of Fame horse trainer Jerry Hollendorfer was banned from Santa Anita racetrack on Saturday after the death of another horse under his care. One of Hollendorfer’s horses, a 4-year-old gelding named American Currency, was running on a training track when it sustained a life-ending leg injury. It is the 30th horse to be euthanized after sustaining an injury at Santa Anita since Dec. 26, and the fourth from Hollendorfer’s stable. ...Read more

Memphis Grizzlies Trade Mike Conley To Utah Jazz

The Memphis Grizzlies have traded veteran point guard Mike Conley, who has played the most games in franchise history, to the Utah Jazz. The Grizzlies swapped Conley for Jae Crowder, Kyle Korver and Grayson Allen, and also includes Utah’s No. 23 pick overall in Thursday night’s draft. .
