Twitter Says Platform Will Stop Accepting Political Ads

Twitter says the company will no longer accept political ads.  Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said in a tweetstorm on Wednesday, “We believe political message reach should be earned, not bought. A political message earns reach when people decide to follow an account or retweet. Paying for reach removes that decision, forcing highly optimized and targeted political messages on people. House Democrats Release Text Of Impeachment Resolution

House Democrats have released text of the impeachment resolution they plan to vote on, however when that vote will take place is still unclear. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi originally claimed the vote would be this Thursday. But on Tuesday, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer walked that back and said that not only was the vote “not an impeachment resolution” but that it might not be “ready to go on Thursday.”  Hoyer told reporters Tuesday morning: “This is not an impeachment resolution. Grandfather Of Toddler Who Died In Fatal Fall From Cruise Ship Charged With Manslaughter

Authorities have arrested the grandfather of an 18-month-old who fell out of a window on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in Puerto Rico during a family trip in July. Puerto Rico’s Justice Department ordered the arrest of Salvatore Anello. He faces a charge of negligent manslaughter in the death of his granddaughter, Chloe Wiegand. While the vessel was docked in San Juan, Anello placed Chloe near an open window he thought was closed when her family said she fell out of the ship’s 11th story. ...Read more
