Reality Star Khloe Kardashian Confirms Pregnancy With NBA Player Tristan Thompson

Reality star Khloe Kardashian is pregnant. Kardashian confirmed the news on Instagram that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson. She included a photo of her pregnant belly with the post, saying she is “thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one” and called the pregnancy “my greatest dream realized.” Kardashian is the younger sister of Kim Kardashian West. Thompson plays center-forward with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The couple’s pregnancy had been rumored for months, but Kardashian said in her post that they intentionally kept the news quiet so they could “enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately.” ...Read more

The world got another look at the future of Britain’s royal family with the release of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official engagement photos. The new photos show Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, embracing each other, posing with Markle’s hand on Harry’s knee and walking hand-in-hand. All three photos showcase Markle’s engagement ring, which features diamonds from Botswana and the personal collection of Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana. US Ambassador Nikki Haley Warns Diplomats On Jerusalem: President Trump Is Watching You

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley has emailed members of the United Nations, who are set to vote Thursday in favor of a General Assembly resolution urging the United States to rescind its decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In the email, Haley wrote: “As you consider your vote, I want you to know that the President and U.S. take this vote personally,”  “The President will be watching this vote carefully and has requested I report back on those countries who voted against us. We will take note of each and every vote on this issue.”   Haley also said the U.S. is not asking other countries to follow its lead, and move their embassies to Jerusalem, “though we think it would be appropriate.” ...Read more

President Trump Calls Tax Bill ‘Historic Victory For The American People’

 President Donald Trump applauded Republicans for passing a sweeping tax bill Wednesday, promising Americans they would see relief by February. During a cabinet meeting Wednesday, Trump said the “historic” bill would be an “incredible Christmas gift for hardworking Americans” and touted the lower corporate rate that he says will keep businesses in the country.  GOP senators and members of Congress came to the White House later Wednesday — after the House voted on the measure a second time — to celebrate the bill’s passage. Washington Nationals Sign Free Agent Matt Adams To One-Year Deal Worth $4 Million

The Washington Nationals have reportedly agreed to terms with free agent/first baseman Matt Adams in a deal that would bring him to D.C. If finalized, the contract is expected to include a $4M guarantee and $500K of available incentives for a single season. Adams was the lefty bat the Nationals have needed since parting ways with Adam Lind at the end of the season. Phillies Introduce Their New Slugger, Carlos Santana

The Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to a three-year, $60 million deal with former Cleveland Indian Carlos Santana. The signing, which includes a fourth-year club option, was officially announced Wednesday. The Phillies introduced Santana at a noon press conference Wednesday. Santana, 31, is a high-walk power hitter. From 2011 through 2017, he walked between 88 and 113 times each season, all while maintaining relatively low strikeout totals. Santana is a switch-hitter who came up as a catcher, but he hasn’t caught since 2014. The last three seasons, he has played primarily first base.  Lady Gaga will be getting a residency show in Las Vegas. The 31-year-old singer confirmed the news in a series of Instagram posts Tuesday, saying she would begin a two-year residency at MGM’s Park Theater. MGM said in a news release that Lady Gaga’s residency will begin in December 2018. Performance dates and ticket information will be announced in the coming months. Gaga posted “The rumors are true I will have my own residency in Las Vegas at MGM’s Park Theater. “I am SO HAPPY and excited beyond belief to make my own brand new show here with my new Vegas family.” ...Read more

Actress Mindy Kaling Gives Birth To Her First Child

Mindy Kaling is a mom. The 38-year-old actress has given birth to a baby girl named Katherine, welcoming the baby last Friday.  Kaling has not revealed the identity of the baby’s father, but the “Mindy Project” star said she was excited to be a mother. A rep for Kaling did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and Kaling has not alluded to her happy news on social media, either. 12 Dead, 20 Injured In Mexico Tour Bus Crash

At least 12 people died when a bus carrying cruise ship passengers to Mayan ruins in eastern Mexico flipped over on a highway early Tuesday, officials said. The crash occurred as the bus was on its way to the ruins at Chacchoben, about 110 miles south of Tulum. Seven Americans and two citizens of Sweden are among the injured, according to authorities. Miami-based Royal Caribbean Cruises said in a statement that passengers from two of its ships, the Celebrity Equinox and Serenade of the Seas, were involved in the crash. House Passes GOP Tax Overhaul Bill

The House of Representatives on Tuesday passed a sweeping tax overhaul bill, moving the legislation on to the Senate for consideration. The bill passed 227-203. The 500-page, $1.5 trillion bill lowers the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent, and the top individual tax rate from 39.6 percent to 37 percent. The Senate was expected to pass the vote Tuesday night. Even if all 48 Democrat senators vote against the tax bill, Republicans expect to have enough votes to pass it.  ...Read more
