Jordin Sparks Performs National Anthem Before NFL Game Monday Night

Singer Jordin Sparks staged her own silent protest Monday while singing the National Anthem before the Cowboys vs. Cardinals NFL game. While she did not take to her knees, the singer had Bible verse, “Prov 31: 8-9,” written on her hand.  The verse reads, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Cowboys and Cardinals Lock Arms in NFL Anthem Protest

The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals on Monday night locked arms with teammates in response to President Donald Trump’s comments.  The Cowboys’ and Cardinals’ display came after a weekend in which Trump slammed the National Football League and players for protesting during the anthem. Steven Spielberg To Assume CEO Position of Amblin Entertainment

Michael Wright, Amblin Partners’ top executive, is stepping down as CEO, the company announced Tuesday.   Steven Spielberg, who is chairman of his company, will assume the CEO role.  According to reports, Wright will still be working within the company but his role will be changed and he’ll be serving in a different capacity.
