Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to Ridley Scott’s original classic, was anticipated to a huge box office success.  However the sci-fi flick struggled on its opening weekend, estimated to have earned just $42 million this weekend. Tyrese Gibson Blames Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson For Delaying “Fast and Furious 9”

Tyrese Gibson spoke out in an Instagram post about the delay in the Fast and Furious 9 filming, and seemingly blamed his costar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for holding up production. Cam Newton Apologizes For Comments To Female Reporter

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton apologized Thursday for using words that were “extremely degrading and disrespectful to women” when he responded to a question asked Wednesday by Jourdan Rodrigue, a reporter for The Charlotte Observer, that “it’s funny to hear a female talk about routes.”  Newton has received heavy criticism for the remarks made to Rodrigue during a news conference Wednesday. ...Read more

Cleveland Indians Beat New York Yankees In Game 1 Of The ALDS

Tropical Storm Nate Heads Towards Mexico and U.S.

Tropical Storm Nate formed Thursday is expected to reach the US Gulf Coast over the weekend as a hurricane.  Nate is forecast to gain force as it approaches the Yucatan Peninsula late Friday and turn into a Category 1 hurricane when it makes landfall in the US Gulf Coast on Sunday.  Parts of the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama coastlines are under hurricane and tropical storm watches. ...Read more
