Deal For Greg Schiano To Be Next Head Coach At Tennessee Falls Apart

A day after Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano was in negotiations to be the head football coach at Tennessee, then had any potential deal scrapped after an outcry on social media and protests at the school, two officials from previous and current employers came to his defense. Anthony Lurano, a trustee at Penn State, said that Schiano being involved in the Jerry Sandusky case is untrue. Jeremy Piven’s ‘Wisdom Of The Crowd’ Cancelled Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

CBS has cancelled Wisdom of the Crowd after a fourth woman accused star Jeremy Piven of sexual misconduct. The network will not put in an order for the last nine episodes. A source said that Wisdom producers were already told about the decision. All 13 episodes have already been produced and will still air. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just gave their first televised interview to celebrate their royal engagement. The newly engaged couple opened up about how Harry proposed, as well as how they first met. Harry and Meghan said they were introduced by a mutual friend and they first met with back-to-back dates in early July 2016. Arizona State Fires Head Coach Todd Graham

Arizona State has fired head coach Todd Graham after the Sun Devils beat rival Arizona on Saturday to finish 7–5 on the season. The school said in a statement that Graham and his staff will stay on through the team’s bowl appearance. Graham, 52, went 46-31 in six seasons in Tempe, winning 10 games in both 2013 and 2014. New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles didn’t hesitate to criticize wide receiver Robby Anderson for lobbying for Pro Bowl votes, which he did during Sunday’s 35-27 defeat to the Carolina Panthers. After his 54-yard touchdown reception, Anderson walked to a Fox camera and asked for fans to help get him into his first Pro Bowl. ‘Glee’ Star Naya Rivera Charged With Domestic Battery After Saturday Arrest

Former “Glee” star Naya Rivera was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery of her husband, “Ray Donovan” actor Ryan Dorsey, Sunday after her arrest the night before. Rivera was arrested and released on $1,000 PR bond Sunday following a short appearance in court. Police were called to a house in Chesapeake, West Virginia on Saturday over a domestic dispute. Rep. John Conyers of Michigan has stepped down as ranking member of House Judiciary Committee, amid a congressional investigation into sexual harassment and workplace abuse allegations by his former staffers. Conyers’ decision to step down comes after former staffers accused Conyers of a variety of workplace abuses, including sexual harassment. Texas Congressman Joe Barton Says Capitol Police Are Investigating Release of Nude Photo

Rep. Joe Barton of Texas said the Capitol Police has started an investigation into the release of a nude photograph of him. Barton apologized on Wednesday after the photo circulated on social media. Barton issued a statement saying that while separated from his second wife, prior to their divorce in 2015, he had sexual relationships “with other mature adult women.” The 68-year-old Republican said each relationship was consensual and has since ended.
