On Tuesday, a police officer and multiple others were killed in a shooting in Jersey City, New Jersey that authorities say is not believed to have been a terrorism attack. Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop said one officer was pronounced dead at a hospital and multiple other people were found dead at the scene. SpaceX Launches 19th Cargo Mission To Space Stations Carrying Robot

SpaceX launched Falcon 9 rocket Thursday from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on the company’s 19th cargo mission to the International Space Station. Lifting off at 12:29 p.m., the rocket carried 5,700 pounds of supplies, experiments and a new version of the CIMON robot designed to interact with astronauts. The Catholic bishop of Buffalo, N.Y., has resigned following accusations he covered up clergy sex abuse of children.
