Reese Witherspoon Confirms ‘Legally Blonde 3’

Reese Witherspoon took to social media to confirm “Legally Blonde 3” is in the works. “It’s true… #LegallyBlonde3,” she captioned and posted a short clip of herself floating past the camera on a blue lounger.  The clip referenced Witherspoon’s sorority sister turned Harvard Law School student’s video application to the prestigious institution. Witherspoon, 42, first played Elle Woods in the 2001 comedy and reprised her role two years later for “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.” The film was also made into a Broadway musical in 2007.  ...Read more

Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper Star In The First Trailer For “A Star Is Born” Remake

Four-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper and award-winning music superstar Lady Gaga debuted the trailer for the upcoming remake of “A Star is Born.””  Gaga stars in her first leading role in a major motion picture, while Cooper marks his directorial debut. The cast of “A Star is Born” also includes Andrew DICE Clay, Dave Chappelle and Sam Elliott. In addition to playing the title role of Ally, Gaga performs original songs in the film, which she wrote with Cooper and a handful of artists, including Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell and Mark Ronson. Netflix Confirms ’13 Reasons Why’ Will Return For Season 3

Netflix’s controversial teen drama “13 Reasons Why” will return for a season 3. Production on the new season will resume later this year and is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2019. Like previous seasons, Season 3 of “13 Reasons Why” will consist of 13 episodes. However the series’ breakout star – Katherine Langford – will likely be missing the action. The 22-year-old actress shared an emotional goodbye to her character, Hannah Baker, on Instagram shortly after the Season 2 premiere.  Selena Gomez and her mom, Mandy Teefey, will return as executive producers for the series – alongside series’ creator and show-runner Brian Yorkey.  ...Read more

Harvey Weinstein Pleads Not Guilty To Rape And Sexual Assault Charges

Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, June 5, to felony rape and criminal sex act charges, the Associated Press reports. Weinstein appeared before Justice James M. Burke during a hearing at the State Supreme Court in New York City, where he answered a series of yes-no questions about his rights before entering his plea. Weinstein turned himself in to authorities on May 25 on charges involving former actress Lucia Evans and a second woman, who has not been publicly identified. Evans, 36, has claimed that the former producer forced her to perform oral sex on him at his office in 2004, while the unidentified woman alleged that he raped her in a hotel room in 2013. Weinstein is out on $1 million bail, has denied all claims of nonconsensual sex. His lawyer has claimed that the sexual encounters with Evans and the second woman were consensual. ...Read more

Jimmy Fallon Surprises Parkland Seniors At Graduation Ceremony

Jimmy Fallon brought laughter to a somber graduation ceremony on Sunday honoring the 2018 class of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. In a surprise speech, Fallon addressed 748 seniors, along with their families and friends during the commencement that honored four classmates who died in the Feb. 14 school shooting in Parkland, Florida. The school gave posthumous diplomas to Nicholas Dworet, Joaquin Oliver, Meadow Pollack and Carmen Schentrup. The degrees were accepted by family members. 17 students and educators were killed in the massacre.  At the graduation ceremony, Fallon referred to the time he spent meeting some of the students at the March For Our Lives rally (the gun control rally in March that Stoneman Douglas students organized in Washington and around the country following the attack) and he thanked the whole class for their courage and bravery.  “You are not just the future ― you are the present,” he said. “Keep changing the world. Janet Jackson Calls Police To Perform Welfare Check On 1-Year-Old Son Eissa While In The Care Of His Father

Janet Jackson called the police on Saturday to check on the welfare of her son Eissa Al Mana. The 17-month-old was with his father, Jackson’s estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, at the Nobu hotel in Malibu, California, when Jackson called authorities around 10 p.m. on Saturday “Deputies were there [and] called to the scene. They decided the child was okay and they left,” according to sources. Jackson, 52, was not at the hotel at the time, authorities confirmed. Jackson was said to be worried Al Mana may have been using drugs around their son. “The concern was that his erratic behavior was tied to that,” a source said. However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office said there “was zero suspicion of drugs being used,” and that the office was puzzled as to “why Jackson made the allegation.” ...Read more

ABC Reportedly Looking To Reboot ‘Roseanne’ With Focus On Sara Gilbert

ABC is reportedly looking into rebooting “Roseanne” – but this time without its namesake Roseanne Barr and instead focusing on Sara Gilbert’s character, Darlene. According to two sources with knowledge of the matter, talks with production company Carsey-Werner, which owns the show, are preliminary — but the idea is definitely enticing to ABC. Kim Kardashian Meets President Trump To Discuss Prison Reform

Kim Kardashian headed to Washington DC to discuss prison reform with officials, including senior adviser Jared Kushner and President Donald Trump. On Wednesday, Kim arrived at the White House with attorney Shawn Chapman Holley. It wasn’t originally clear if Kardashian would meet with the President, however, Trump tweeted out a photo of them in the Oval Office, writing, “Great meeting with @KimKardashian today, talked about prison reform and sentencing.” Kim’s visit was expected to include a conversation about the possibility of a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old great-grandmother who has been in prison for over 20 years on a nonviolent drug-related offense. Kim has been advocating for Alice’s clemency since late last year. Earlier in the day, Kim tweeted a message to Alice, saying, “Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson. Today is for you.” ...Read more
