283 New Cases of COVID-19 in Ky. Total at 9,464. No Weekend Press Conferences

Governor Andy Beshear at his daily press conference for the Coronavirus said that there were 283 new COVID-19 cases reported today, bringing the total in the Commonwealth to 9,464, with 161 probable cases.

There have been 227,944 Kentuckians tested for COVID-19, of those 2,266 have ever been in the Hospital with COVID-19, there are 499 in now. There have been 940 Kentuckians that have ever been in the ICU, there are 81 now with COVID-19.

There have been 3,231 Kentuckians that have recovered from COVID-19.

There were 9 more deaths reported today.

Governor Beshear authorized the Circuit Court Clerks to resume limited Driver’s License services statewide on June 1st. They will process the renewals remotely to promote safety by reducing foot traffic at court facilities.

There will be no Press Conferences this weekend and, starting Monday the Conferences will move to start at 4 pm.
