Onward to Kansas City and the Sweet 16!

After putting away 15-Abilene Christian, 79-44  on Thursday in the Opening Round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, The 2nd Seeded Cats shut down 3-point phenom Fletcher Magee, holding the NCAA’s leading 3-point shooter ever to an 0-8 night, beating 7-Wofford after trailing late in the first half, 62-56. The Cats held the Terriers to 8/27 from behind the line in the game. 

   The Cats head to Kansas City for a Friday/Sunday Sweet 16 from Sprint Center in Kansas City. Game times will be announced late Sunday, after the games or early Monday. The opponent will either be 3-Houston or 11-Ohio State.
