Girl Scout Troop 701 will be downtown Versailles on Saturday, December 1st with a donations booth in front of the courthouse to benefit the Woodford County Humane Society from 3-7pm. They will also be walking in the Versailles Christmas Parade at 5pm to showcase the humane society’s wish list of donations and photos of some animals that would love to find their “fur”ever home.
If you are willing to donate, please bring supplies downtown to the booth and we’ll deliver them to the humane society. Wish list items include: Feline Pine Brand Kitty Litter (non-clumping), bleach, detergent, dish soap, antibacterial soap, paper towels, dog and cat toys and treats, canned Science Diet dog and cat food, bully sticks, tall kitchen trash bags, stretch and scratch pads (stretchandscratch.com) reams of paper (white and color), postage stamps, and gas cards.
