Crews monitoring weather, spot treating slick spots on roadways

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 8, 2018) – The Division of Streets & Roads will be spot treating slick areas, beginning this afternoon and continuing until 7:30 a.m. tomorrow.

But with an increase in temperature, and a decrease in precipitation, city crews will not be out unnecessarily treating roads overnight. If temperatures do plummet, crews will be prepared to respond.

Officials continue to urge caution and safety while driving, and to be careful of slick spots on sidewalks.
