Horse Country, Inc., the association of area horse farms now organizing all farm tours, is hosting a free open house event giving local residents unprecedented access inside the gates of member farms. Playfully called Meet the NEIGHbors, this premiere event will be held at various horse farms on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Local residents will have the opportunity to tour one of 21 area horse farms, learn about the horse industry, and meet many of the amazing animals that call the bluegrass home – all free of charge. They’ll even be able to start following the careers of yearlings whose stories are yet to be written so they can share with your friends and families, “I knew them when…”
Participating locations will include many of the following farms and equine hospitals: Adena Springs, Claiborne Farm, Coolmore Farm, Darley at Jonabell, Gainesway Farm, Hallway Feeds, Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Hermitage Farm, Lane’s End, Mill Ridge Farm, Pin Oak, Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital, Saxony Farm, Spendthrift, Taylor Made Farm, Three Chimneys, and Winstar Farm.
