About Dr.  Swindler

Dr. Swindler is MBL’s President, founder, and head physician.
She completed medical school through Northeastern Universities College of Medicine and Ohio and did extensive published research through Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, which received honors. She then completed family practice residency through the University of Louisville rural track program of Glasgow, KY. During her residency Dr. Swindler learned how to treat all ages of patients from newborns through geriatrics, which set the foundation for treating patients ages 7-65 in bariatric weight loss medicine. She also worked as sole emergency room physician for various rural ER’s in southern Kentucky and as one of the family practice physicians in a children’s psychiatric hospital prior to her subspecialty training in bariatrics. She has received her formal bariatric training through the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, and through mentorship with Dr. Allen Rader in Boise, Idaho. She has taken and passed all oral and written examinations with the American Society of Bariatric Medicine for board certification. Dr. Swindler enjoys sharing her knowledge of weight loss with local physicians and the public through various training sessions and speaking engagements. KISS FM's Skip Eliot had Heather Clary of the Better Business Bureau of Central and Eastern Kentucky on 96.9 KISS FM Friday afternoon. We spoke of how to make SURE the charity, whether it's for Haitian Relief Funds or any charity, is on the up and up.

The Better Business Bureau of Central and Eastern Kentucky, as well as the National BBB watches these agencies as they do businesses.

Take a few minutes before you donate to ask about the Charity AND go to the BBB's Website to check the Charity or Business out before you donate or buy.
